CHARLAP, HYMAN + HERRERO

A corporate garden commission for Charlap Hyman & Herrero, the AD100 interior design studio based in Silver Lake. Working with a modest budget and a compact streetside planter, we focused on building density through contrast: black bamboo and feathery blue-gray foliage set against deep burgundy cordylines, with cascading ground cover softening the painted brown brick.

The result is lush but controlled: a lot happening in a small space, with each plant holding its own without competing for attention.
